Project Maanasi - Mugalur
An Internationally acclaimed project, Project Maanasi, located in Mugalur Village has been running since the year 2002, actively helping rural women afflicted with Mental illness to deal with it and recover to a normal life. The scale of the problem can be understood by the fact that one in ten people suffer from mental health problems. An average of 450-500 patients are treated every month.
