BMD & Osteoporosis Screening Camp
A team of 12 members departed at 8:00 a.m. and reached Gadkhali at 10:45 a.m. The team was warmly received by local representatives at the bus stand and escorted by Toto to the venue Rotary YI Health Clinic, Gadkhali, Sundarban.
As part of bone health assessment, all 73 patients underwent Bone Mineral Density (BMD) testing. Screening for osteoporosis was conducted.
Patients were examined and counselled by Orthopaedician, Dr. Bimalendu Sen and given exercises leaflet to the beneficiaries who are suffering from osteoarthritis.
Free calcium tablets were provided as per advised.
