Menstrual Hygiene Management
Rotary Club of Anand Round Town along with Kanya’s Chance ev - a German NGO, Anand District Education Administration and Charotar Education Society organised a Menstrual Hygiene Management workshop for 220 teachers and Block coordinators of selected 180 Primary schools of Anand, Khambhat, Sojitra and Tarapur Taluka on 18 October 2022 at Prarthna Mandir, D. N High School campus, Anand. We handed over Reusable Sanitary pad packets, and Menstrual Hygiene information Booklets to around 4000 girls of selected schools to District Education Department for the Distribution of MHM kits. District Primary School Education Administration will guide teachers of the selected schools for the distribution of Pad packets and MHM information Booklet etc.
Kanyas chance is headed by Harit Patel, son of Rtn. Dr. Amit Patel and Rtn. Dr. Uma Patel. A presentation was given by Dr. Kesha Salvi, daughter of Rtn. Dr Parimal Salvi on the same.
