Rtn. Tushar Shah's journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to service and excellence. A graduate in Chemical Engineering from Dharamsinh Desai Institute of Technology, Nadiad, he embarked on his professional odyssey with Gujarat State Fertilizer Ltd. before venturing into entrepreneurship in the realm of Automation & Process Instrumentation. Founding his firm, I S Engineers and Industrial Retails, he established offices in Surat, with branches flourishing in Vapi and Ankleshwar.

His initiation into the realm of Rotary in 2008 marked the beginning of a remarkable trajectory of leadership and service. From assuming the role of Sergeant at Arms to ascending to the esteemed position of Club President at the Club Level, Rtn. Tushar has been a dependable in Rotary District affairs. Within the District, he has served with distinction as District Secretary and as Chair of significant committees including Wins and Literacy. Noteworthy among his achievements is the successful hosting of the 47th District Conference during his tenure as Governor's Home Club President.

Rtn. Tushar's contributions extend beyond administrative roles. He has been instrumental in championing projects with far-reaching impact, exemplified by his stewardship as a Primary Contact for the Global Grant initiative, facilitating the procurement of 20 Dialysis Machines in 2018-19. His dedication to Rotary's ethos is evident in his active participation across a spectrum of activities, programs, assemblies, and international conventions.

Recognition for his outstanding service has been abundant. Rtn. Tushar has been the recipient of esteemed accolades including the Club Builder Award, Avenues of Service Award, and the distinguished Distinguished Rotarian Award, to name a few. His involvement in major Rotary Programs, such as the Group Study Exchange to the USA and Rotary Friendship Exchange to Bangladesh and Brazil, underscores his global perspective and commitment to international fellowship.

Beyond Rotary, Rtn. Tushar finds fulfillment in enriching lives through education and literacy initiatives, reflected in his tenure as the District Literacy Chairman. His dedication to service is further underscored by his active involvement in hosting international guests, Rotary Youth Exchange students, and Group Study Exchange teams, opening his home to foster global camaraderie and cultural exchange.

Married to the dynamic Rtn. Nehal Shah, an entrepreneur with 23 years of experience in the Travel Consultancy sector, the couple shares a mutual dedication to Rotary's principles. Nehal's leadership as Charter President of the Rotary Club of Surat Tapi and her role as RYE Co-Chair exemplify her commitment to service and youth empowerment.

Their children, Shivani and Samarth, are shining examples of this commitment. Their daughter, Shivani, has emerged as a beacon of leadership within the Rotary community. Having served as a Past District Rotaract Representative and a Rotarian, Shivani's journey has been one of tireless dedication and unwavering passion. With a master's degree in Human Resource Management, she exemplifies academic excellence and a profound commitment to personal and professional growth. Currently settled in Canada with her husband Harsh, Shivani continues to embody the values of service, integrity, and compassion.

Their son, Samarth, is charting his path towards excellence in the field of Business Analytics at North Eastern University, Boston. With a keen intellect and a thirst for knowledge, Samarth's academic journey is a testament to his commitment to innovation and intellectual curiosity.  Samarth continues to strive for academic excellence and personal growth, embodying the values of scholarship, resilience, and determination.

Both Samarth & Shivani are RYE rebounds from Germany and are Paul Harris Fellows.
