UMBRELLA DISTRIBUTION
Team RCSW distributed umbrellas to street hawkers and micro entrepreneurs on August 9th, 2023. This would make their work a bit more comfortable, saving them from rains and heat. Not only would it create comfort for the beneficiaries, but it would be a great public image exercise. It will be reminding everyone about how Rotary is committed to inclusion of the lowest strata of our society in it’s endeavours.
Many Anns and Annets went around lovingly gifting the umbrellas in many areas. Go Pink Power!! Public image chair Sneha made the occasion fun by filming responses of the beneficiaries. Total 20 such umbrellas were distributed. Well done, Project Chair Meeta.
The cost of the project? Not much, considering the district support. The joy and hope created for everyone? Priceless!!
