Tree Plantation
The Sustainable Environment is a global platform for inspiring positive change to create a more sustainable World. On 06 August’ 2023 Sunday, Rotary club of Surat planted 250 Saplings in view to create ‘Clean Surat Green Surat’ – Green arena at Niyol Water Tank Area. Niyol is a village situated approximately 13 km away at the outskirts from Surat city, located in Palsana taluka of Surat district
PDG. Rtn. Himanshubhai Thackar and PP. Nimesh Mehta were instrumental in coordination of the plantation project at Niyol. Orgo Synth, Gopal Charitable Trust, resident of Niyol village volunteered the plantation. It was pleasure to visit Rotary Club of Surat’s Mineral water tank at Niyol, the most sustainable global grant project, memorizing 22 years of past journey. Rotary Club of Surat will nourish these saplings, till they grow self-sufficient for further growth and flourish.
