PUSTAK SATHE PARICHAY BIG DREAM PROJECT
"book is a gift you can open again and again."
We are glad to inform that Rotary Club of Navsari has introduced a unique project " Pustak Sathe Parichay"
This is a dream project of our President Rtn.Pinkalba Desai & her team RCN.
The main objective of this project is to develop reading ability in children and adults and also to open a new direction of thought.
Books?provide us with important life lessons, they teach us to be more empathetic, open our eyes in regard to the problems our world is facing, and push us to think for ourselves. They shape our minds, make us more creative, and they improve our critical thinking. The project started with a prayer by Riti Chandels melodious voice.
Our well-known and respected teacher, motivational speaker,Author Dr. Jay Vashi was present as the chief guest. The "Pushtak sathe parichay" project was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon. Our district monthly project chairman Dr. Nimesh Bhai Rajput was also present in this project. They were felicitated by President Rtn.Pinkalba Desai and Hon.Secretary Rtn.Krina Vashi with a bouquet of flowers.
Children from Akash Kids Club were present for this project and had a great time with us. Dr. Jay Vashi and Dr. Nimesh Bhai Rajput explained the importance of the book by telling inspiring stories to the children.
Under this project, on the first and third Sundays of the month, one can exchange their book with another book at the hall. They can also sit there and read the book and take it home and then can return the book the consequent Sunday.
The entire project was anchored by Rtn. Neelamben Shah. President Rtn Pinkalba Desai thanked all the Rotarians, friends, dignitaries, children who were present and thanked them for making the evening? exciting and successful.
