Sakhi Biodegradable Sanitary Napkins Distribution

Rotary Club of Vadodara Heritage and Vatsalya Foundation are working in collaboration since the club’s inception. IPP Rtn. Swati Bedekar heads Vatsalya Foundation, and along with it, Project Sakhi under the Vatsalya banner. The inaugural function of Vatsalya Foundation and MGVCLs joint program "Swachh Rahe Kanya, Swasth Rahe Kanya" was held on 25 Sep 2023 at M C High School Salatwada Vadodara. Under this, Sakhi sanitary napkins will be given free every month to all the girls of class 9 to 12 for one year in 100 schools of Vadodara. Mayor Ms. Pinkiben Soni was the chief guest of the program. And special guest Dr. Manjusha Yadav, office bearers of MGVCL and Vatsalya Foundation, Swati Bedekar, Kalpana Shah and other activists were also present. The beneficiaries of the school were the female students and the principal and teachers.
