NARI SANRAKSHAN GRAH
On October 18th, President Sonal and Rtn Mayank Deorah met Hon Union Minister of state for Railways and Textiles - Smt Darshnaben Jardosh. They briefed her about the project that our club has undertaken at the “Nari Sanrakshan Gruh”. Motivated by his daughters, Vidhushi and Vedanshi, Rtn Mayank has installed machinery to make pillows out of textiles waste material. Acting as the chair of the project, he has arranged supply of raw material from his factory, as well as, logistics and marketing set up. The arrangement will help the ladies staying in the facility, to make a substantial living and lead more productive, as well as, respectable lives.
Hon Minister appreciated the initiative and promised to visit the set up with our members, in near future.
