VISIT TO AASARA OLD AGE HOME
On October 22nd, we visited old age home “Aasara” at New City Light road, Surat. It is a relatively new setup, run by “Manvata Charitable Trust”. There are, currently, a total of 20 elderly people are being taken care of, at the centre, with everything (including clothes, food, medicines etc.) being provided by the trust. President Sonal and PP Bhavesh talked to the management, and understood their working, as well as requirements. Ann Aditi, and Rtn Mukesh Jain also joined, along with their son Reyan. It was Annet Reyan’s birthday, and they gifted a month’s groceries to the elderly and received a lot of blessings.We promise to be better involved and support them from Rotary Club of Surat West family.
