Our Own Marathon Navsari Swachhata Marathon 2024
Navsari Marathon 2024 on January 21st! Organized by District Administrative Department & the Rotary Club of Navsari in collaboration with the dynamic Rotaract Club of Navsari Young Turks and Rotaract Club of Harijyot, this event is not just a race ? its a celebration of community health.
The event was first started by Ganesh Vandana and Deep Pragatya.Rotary Club of Navsari President Rtn. Pinkalba Desai first welcomed all the dignitaries and guests with a bouquet of flowers.
Shree C.R.Patil saheb was a chief guest of this event. Navsari District Collector shree Amit Prakash Yadav and MLA shree Rakeshbhai Desai and many dignitaries were present in this event.
The event was organized in three categories namely 3 km, 5 km and 10 km. The route map and registration for which was informed in advance. The citizens of Navsari registered in large numbers and enthusiastically participated in this event.
The first 10 km marathon was started by flagging off by Collector Shri Amit Yadavji, SP Saheb and Rotary dignitaries. Then 5 km and 3 km marathons were started respectively.
An early morning Zumba session was also held.
Entire event hosted by RJ Hirenbhai.
The sound of music and Drumps encouraged the runners. The whole atmosphere became energetic and Joyful.
finally,Some runners were honoured by the chief guest by giving medals. Under the Swachhata marathon, people were made aware about cleanliness and health.
The entire program was organized by Project Chair Rtn.Dhavalbhai and Rtn.Akshaybhai. A lot of help and cooperation was given by Rotarians, Rotaractors as their team members and thats why this mega project was completely successful.
At last,Honorable Secretary, Rtn.Krina Vashi thanked all the dignitaries present here, members of every organization, Rotarians, runners and every person for their contribution in this mega project.
