Anand Gram Project(adopted Village Aamri): PROJECT HUMF
Today Rotary club of Navsari organized Maternal and Child Healthcare camp under the project HUMF in Aamri Village. Gynecologist Rtn.Dr. Kalaben Patel gave indepth knowledge to pregnant women and lactating mothers regarding healthy food, importance of iron and protein in the diet, importance of breast feeding and vaccination.
These women were given nutritious kit containing Jaggery, dates, chana, coconut, 200gm protein powder, iron and calcium tablets each containing 60 capsules. Also calcium and haemoglobin checkup was conducted for 40+ women and they were also given required iron and calcium tablets.
The entire event was sponsored by Anandgram Project chair: Rtn. Hardik Desai.
