Plastic waste collection at Timbi Lake as part of Wetland conservation
2nd February is Wetleand day.Its important that we save and conserve wetlands as they are the Kidney of our environmnet. They help to purify water and conserve water. 2nd February is a important day and we need to celeberate so that community knows about is conservation. We along with NGO partner Cannie group and Forest department along with Volunteers from Parul University helped collect plastic from the lake. Almost 60 kg plastic wast collected by team of 25 in 90 minutes. THE PROJECT WAS LED BY NEW MEMBER KAUSTUBH GOKHALE AND PRACHI
