Rotary No Chhayo - Umbrella Distribution Project - RC Daman First Drive 31st Aug 2023.
The Rotary Club of Daman under the district project "Rotary No Chhayo" distributed large-sized umbrellas for free of cost to the needy ferry operators at various locations in the Daman region. The primary objective of this umbrella distribution is to provide relief to the vendors selling fruits and vegetables, who stand at different places, protecting them from the sun during the summer and from the rain during the monsoon.
Approx. 28 umbrellas were distributed during the first distribution drive on 31st Aug 2023 from Mashal Chowk to Patalia Bridge, as well as from the Somnath 3-way junction to the ICICI Bank 3-way junction.
This distribution was carried out by the Secretary Rtn. Nitin B., Service Project Chair, Rtn. Manish K, Project Chair Rtn. Rajesh U & Rtn. Khurshid M and other members, all under the guidance of the President of the Rotary Club of Daman, Rtn. Apoorva P.
