Drushti Kavach - Student Vision Screening Camp - First Drive by Rotary Club of Daman on 14th Sept 2023.
The "Drushti Kavach" – Student Vision Screening Camps first drive took place at Sunrise Champs High School, Dalwada, Nani Daman, on Sept 14, 2023. The RC Daman, led by Rtn. Dr. Krishnagopala Damania from Krishna Eye and Dental Clinic, Daman, organized this event to assess the visual health of 89 students. The comprehensive screening included standard and color vision tests.
Two staff members facilitated the session, setting up necessary equipment such as eye charts, color vision plates, and examination tools before student arrival. A total of 80 students were screened during this first drive. Most students showed no immediate vision issues, while a minority exhibited minor problems.
This initiative underscores Sunrise Champs High Schools commitment to holistic student development and health, highlighting the cooperation of the school team and management during this session.
