DR. SARVAPALLI RADHAKRISHNAN SAMMAN - TEACHERS FELICITATION

As part of Rotary India’s Nation Builder Awards, Rotary Anand Milkcity, for the sixth consecutive year organized TEACHERS FELICITATION of outstanding Teachers of all public and private schools of Anand taluka. A total of 199 teachers were selected in three categories through a predefined process. All teachers congregated at the city Town Hall, and were awarded a plaque and certificate for their contribution to the advancement of literacy in the region.

Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of Bharat, a statesman, philosopher, politician and academic scholar, is fondly remembered in India for his encouragement of literacy in our country. His birth anniversary is commemorated each year as Teacher’s day.
