ASSISTANCE TO FLOOD VICTIM (Sudama ni jholi) MSP
Gambhira village about 40 kms from Baroda was under flood waters and residents lost their belongings, houses, cattle stock etc. We got information from Sarpanch through one of our BOD members regarding support they needed. So our team consisting of Rotarians Vikas Shah, Rushikesh Shah and Anil Jain visited the village and took stock of the situation. About 700 families were affected and their initial requirement was for food grains and clothes. We immediately raised funds and distributed food grain kit (consisting of Bajra lot, rice, cooking oil, tur dal, salt and spices) and old clothes to the needy villagers. It was a project well executed. Rotarians Rushikesh (project coordinator), Kavita Jain, Ankur Agrawal, Pankaj Shah, Vikas Shah, Kalpesh Sheth, Anil Jain, Ann Dhara & Gopi were present.
