FREE CANCER DETECTION CAMP ON 8TH OCT 2023 (MSP)
Today we have successfully completed cancer detection camp. It was joint project of 9 clubs of Vadodara. Mayor of Baroda Pinky ben Soni was the chief guest and Dr. Hitendra bhai Patel (Ex-Chair, Standing Committee) was the guest of honor. Project Chair was Dr. Rashmi Thakral (RC Vadodara Banyan City), Project Co-Chair was Kavita Jain (RC Baroda Kalanagari). Talk on cancer awareness was done by Dr. Ranjana Parikh Gynecologist. Project was attended by Rotarians and Spouses of all the 9 Clubs in different time slots. 157 registrations were done and screening of 97 beneficiaries was carried out with PAP Smear test for 48 and Mammography for 7. It was full day program from 9 to 5 pm. It was great experience to work with other clubs.
