HUMF
On 17th October, we RCU conducted the HUMF project for a consecutive 3rd month.
We do this project a little bit differently.. we start giving protein rich food kits right from pregnancy to ensure healthy pregnancy and a healthy birth weight of babies. So that post natal complications can be reduced.
During this month, the president, Rtn Saravanan Devar, took special care to make the pregnant ladies aware of the need to eat healthy and the importance of spreading this knowledge to other pregnant ladies.
Every month, we give 27 kits, each costing 500/- and containing pure ghee, peanuts, chana, gud, and tuvar dal to malnourished pregnant ladies.
