Plantation
40 saplings of different varieties including fruit bearing ones were planted in the kitchen garden of the school and within the compound on the front. Around 50 students and 3 teachers including one lady teacher participated in the plantation.
Rtn S K Mitra, Rtn Ashok Panda, Rtn Pramod Panda, Rtn Amulya Rout, Rtn Dhaneswar Sahoo, Rtn Debasis Suara and Rtn Suresh Verma actively participated in the program.
Rtn S K Mitra and Rtn Pramod Panda took time to sensitise the students on the importance of trees for our environment and why & how they should take care of the trees around them. The children were given chocolates including those in the nearby Anganwadi school.
Total Rs.5581/- was spent towards plants, fencing materials, labour & chocolate for children including personal contribution of Rs.600/- by Rtn Debasis Suara, Rs. 2250/- by Rtn Pramod Panda.
