Rotary Allahabad Midtown in association with Rotary Royals and Innerwheel Midtown organized a talk on Cervical cancer awareness and its vaccination on Tuesday, 12th November at Crosthwaite school. Rtn Dr. Arpit Bansal, laparoscopic and Cancer Surgeon. Dr Arpit explained various risk factors causing Cervical Cancer, how it can be prevented, how vaccination can also help to protect and prevent Cervical, Vaginal and Anal Cancers in girls. He said that Vaccine, against deadly HPV Virus GARDASIL, is 100% safe and can be administered on females above 15 years of age. The session was attended by members of the club & more than 70 girl students and teachers at Crosthwaite School.
