Self Defense Workshop :Project Shakti
In this day and age where all the women have had a "me too" experience, self-defence knowledge has become essential. Therefore, a Self Defense Training Workshop was organized by RCRG in collaboration with Technofit Martial Arts Management Pvt. Ltd Rajkot for girls of Anand Nursing College, Ghanteshwar. The workshop conducted by Robin Kasundra and team was attended by over 200 girls. The 1.5-hour session covered various topics like
components of self-defense,
• the need to protect oneself,
• basic self-defense movements,
• safety tips for girls like always carrying a pepper spray,
• brain gym and
• general motivation.
The difference in the energy of the audience between the start and the end of the session was palpable.
