Early Childhood Development
Maternal and Child Health and Disease Prevention and Treatment is one of the 7 Focus Areas of District Service Projects. As a part of it, RCRG conducted an informative seminar on Early Childhood Development by well-known gynaecologist Ann Dr. Amee Mehta and Dr.KripaliBhalara at Rotary Greater Bhavan. Various topics like, psychology of children until the age of one, what food should be given, what toys does a child want, the effect of warmth and attention from parents, how to accelerate the learning process, communication skills and overall development of a child, etc were covered. A group of 30 couples who recently embraced parenthood benefitted from the audio-visual presentation.
