Batch of Geriatric Care Course
We inaugurated 2nd batch of Geriatric Care Course under our permanent project Geriatric Care Centre. In this second batch we have enrolled 30 students. In our first batch there were 10 students and all are now settled and earning in this field.
In this project, faculty and staff will be provided by Smt. Jayaben Mody Hospital, Ankleshwar. All admitted students are from BA course, J P College of Arts and Commerce. Enrollment kits were also given to all students.
This inauguration session was conducted at UPL Rotary Library and guidelines were provided by project coordinator from Tata Institute of Social Sciences as we have an MOU signed with them. Examination and certification will be done by TISS only.
Rotary President Ghanshyambhai Gajera welcomed all dignitaries, staff and students. PP Rtn Jinendra Kothari motivated students to give their introduction. Course and basic guidelines were given to students by project chair Rtn Dr Narendra Shah and project co-chair Dr Deepa Nadkarni. Dr. Atmi Deliwala from Smt Jayaben Mody hospital also briefed about the course and faculty members who are going to teach all subjects. PP Anita Kothari, Rtn Sunil Nadkarni, Rtn PE Sunil Neve and Rtn Nikhil Kulkarni were also present during this function.
