Shantivan Rotary Crematorium Project
Das Ashwamegh Ghat - The centuries old Hindu Crematorium of Bharuch was in a state of Neglect and was in a dilapidated form. Rotary club of Bharuch took up this project in order to provide affordable as well as environment friendly facility to perform the last rites of human remains. The project was then inaugurated in the year 1992 by the august hands of the then R I President Rtn. Glen Kinross. Today it’s a living testimony to reflect the commitment of service to the people of Bharuch. Today the crematorium carries that legacy under the name “Shantivan”.
