Health Checkup Camp for students at Vidyadeep Hostel
Rotary Club of Bharuch with the support of Bharuch District Health Department & UPHC Zadeshwar, had conducted a Medical Check Up Camp at Vidhyadeep College For More than 180 tribal girls of the College. Hemoglobin checkup was carried out & more than 50% of girls were tested anaemic, treatment for the same was provided to them. Also most girls were provided with the treatment of Gynec infection issues. Awareness sessions about sickle cell anemia & and leprosy was held for them, which is quite a big prevalent disease in tribal girls.
Awareness on adolescent ages were provided to the girls specifically on menstrual hygiene was promoted.
Government Scheme Camp -
We also created more than 90 ABHA cards for the girls in this camp, which is their unique health ID card, helping them keep their health records digitally.
